How do you take care of yourself?


Self care is not just taking a bubble bath or paying someone else to do something to you, like a massage, or painting your nails (although these can be important too).

Self care is a daily routine where you can connect to yourself.


I am lucky enough to have some time in the morning, when my children are at school, so that I can do a yoga session and in the evening I take 10 minutes to go through a guided meditation, or focus on being mindful.


Self care is very personal and can take many different forms. It doesn't have to take up a lot of time. It can happen when we drink a glass of water, when we place our bare feet on the earth and take a few breaths to connect to mother earth, when we consciously eat something we really like.

When we take a moment to consciously nourish ourselves, physically, and spiritually.


Why is this important?

We when consciously take the time to connect with ourselves we re-wire the way our brain works. The more times we do it and the more routine it becomes, the easier it is to get clear messages from our intuition and to hear what our physical and intuitive bodies are telling us about our inner life.


Why is it important to connect to our intuition and messages from our physical body about our physical life?
